STEP 1:
Attend Orientation
Participants will attend an
in-person orientation that includes an overview of capital sourcing, placement, and resources to grow and sustain their business.
STEP 2:
One-On-One Assessment
After completing the orientation, participants receive a confidential one-on-one assessment to identify the firm's readiness in financing, technical skills, performance/experience, and procurement acumen. The assessment will determine participants' needs and prescribe a pathway to program resources.
STEP 3:
Attend Business Workshops
During the BSB assessment phase, our team will determine which areas of Business Ascension workshops (optional) are recommended for the program participant to move to the next step of the program.
STEP 4:
Procurement Connections
Once firms have competed the assessment, our team will develop a process for procurement navigation.

Before BSB, securing capital felt like an insurmountable barrier for us. Thanks to their guidance, we've not only accessed the funding we needed but have set a course for sustainable growth and stability.
Payton Hillman
The BSB Program transformed our business by opening doors to vital procurement connections that were previously out of reach. It's not just a program; it's a partnership for success.
Max Johnson
Navigating the complexities of financial management seemed daunting until we joined the BSB Program. Their expert advice and access to capital sourcing have been game-changers for our business's trajectory.

Building Small Businesses Program FAQ
Yes, BSB Orientation Sessions will be hybrid (offered both virtually and in-person).
There is no cost to participate in BSB. Our intention is to create an ecosystem to help you to scale your business. This will be a collaborative effort between our program participants (YOU) and the Ascend HI Team.
Although the Business Ascension workshops are not mandatory, we strongly encourage participation. BSB's access to capital sourcing and Business Ascension workshops offer cohesive, complementary resources and training. Attending the workshops will assist you in preparing your business for procurement readiness.
You will have an opportunity to sign up for a one-on-one session during the BSB Orientation Session registration. If registration is closed, please email tbrown@abfnow.com for one-on-one scheduling.
Yes, BSB is focused on construction related industries, however it is also open to other industries.
